Local Pokegama family, Zach and Shelby, moved to Grand Rapids in 2018. They quickly fell in love with the lake, the people, and the community. Five years later their family expanded to 3 with baby Griffin and shortly after NorthStar Barge was born. Zach's aspirations to start his own business with support from family and friends turned his dream into a reality. 

Zach is outgoing, punctual and a hard worker who puts 100% into everything he does. With a variety of skills and a background in mechanics and welding, Zach is the right guy for your lakeshore needs.

Shelby is very organized detail oriented. Her background in customer service and years of management compliment Zach's hard work ethic. Together they create the perfect team for NorthStar Barge.

Zach and Shelby are excited to work with the Pokegama Lake  community and it's surrounding members.
